Desire

Desire dwells within the heart. The driving art of our actions. Motivating the motives in us. That will result in us a gratification. If intentions are translated into actions. Appears in forms of interests, hobbies, passions, wants & needs, and aspirations.

Desires CAN BE summarized into good & evil

Evil desires have caused
1. money to be the root of all evil
2. the fall of man, the birth of sin in man.
3. allowing the devil to invoke temptation in us.
4. greed, slander, gluttony, murder, sloth and anger
5. lust to rape, masturbation, porn, adultery, incest, perversion, and fornication.
6. waste of time from meaningless entertainments
7. the will of God in a person's life to be obsolete
8. the successes of the forces of darkness
9. crimes rates to its peek
10. corruption of authorities
11. And so the list goes on...

Above all, theres a formula:
Evil X desires = evil intention = evil + sin = gratification of flesh = death

Colossians 3:5
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

2 Timothy 2:22
Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

1 Peter 1:14
As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.

2 Peter 1:4
Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Romans 1:24
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.

Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.

For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.
