denying self, to live for Jesus everyday.

For a while it has become my struggle to be a faithful christian.
Indeed its what every christian faces, some point in their lives. U know,
like in a sense u want to do what u r 'supposed' to do but u 'feel' like u dun want to do it, therefore u couldnt do what u r supposed to do because u r too caught up with 'distraction'?!

For christians, we need to pursue godliness, righteousness, virtue-ness, and in achieving the Will of God in our life. But in order to do that we need to read our bible, pray, and worship everyday. And not to mention in these 40 days, fasting. BUT, in order to do that...we need to have that DESIRE to do so.

The problem is, i frankly do not hav that desire, but i WANT to hav that desire, but my desires is mostly of flesh.

The word of god always challenges us to die to selfish carnal desires, and walk in the Spirit. Live a life of godliness, righteousness and of the will of god. But what if i dun want to, and what if i cant??

Sooner or later, God later revealed to me about my root of the problem, and that is our "desires".
If our desires is on the wrong stuff, it will actually lead us to the wrong stuff, but if our desires is on the things of God...then it is a powerful drive that pushes us to run the race.

But how to HAVE that desires that is of God?????

There's something i have learned in a tough way that i find it helpful. And that is to pray for God to put/install in me desires in pursuing the things of God. And to actually ask God to remove the selfish desires from me.

Its a secret key for me, and perhaps a reminder for all of u.

Besides, i've spent months searching for a way i can be inspired to have godly desires.

Jz ask for it, and u will receive.

Only god can grant it to us.
And its simple and fast to pray these prayers.
Less than a minute only, but must ask with sincerity that u want to hav the desires.

It may not b an overnight thing too, but we hav to have hope and we ourselves act on it by faith.

If we ask for it, and dun act on it, it will be like "faith without works" is dead. We ask for it, but we do the opposite, its jz aint right.

So i jz wanna challenge and encourage all the christians in the house to stay strong and walk in Spirit, godliness, righteousness, and in the Will of God. Dun giv up when rough seasons has come.
